She Got Bike

Today was the 3rd Annual She Got Bike and it was a huge success! Despite the near 100 degree temps and high humidity, we had over 500 women participate in different length rides followed by a festival offering food, bike clinics, and products from vendors and, of course, Joe's Bike Shop.

The C3-Sollay girls volunteered to lead and sag the rides of the day. We had lots of volunteers on bike and in the car to help out.

My new friends, Missy and Sue

One of the helpers at the rest stop. This could be Tickhead's long lost cousin.
Ridgebacks
Mix this with the Ridgeback and you might get Tickhead

Susan Miltenberger (with Chicken), the brains behind SGB. What an awesome event, thanks so much, we can't wait until next year!

Looks like a great day - bikes, dogs, friends, what could be better? Definitely a better choice than the long run I subjected myself to in that heat!

Just to clarify, Susan is the brain behind SGB. I'm just the Chicken.

Hey Sonja, this post is what we are all about! Can you copy it to the team blog when you get a chance?

Great pics and post! It was so awesome having the chicks-in-black mentoring the riders. Thanks!
